Provide lifesaving education through Health & Safety and Disaster service departments. Work to increase the amount of blood donors in our area in order to meet a growing demand for blood in our hospitals. Continually respond to local disasters such as house fires and provide immediate services for those families as well as deploy local volunteers to assist with disasters wherever needed. Offers transitional and permanent supportive housing for homeless recovering addicts, alcoholics, and formerly incarcerated people returning to our community from treatment programs and prison. Exodus Homes has a comprehensive array of services to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of our residents.
$42,727 funded to assist with housing and transportation costs for unemployed homeless recovering and previously incarcerated adults.

Specialized services for individuals and families experiencing the negative effects of anxiety, depression, divorce, stress, financial problems, domestic violence, child abuse, and other problems that threaten the stability of families. $129,250.50 funded for the First Step Domestic Violence program to serve victims of domestic violence; $82,145.00 funded for Consumer Credit Counseling program to provide credit counseling assistance; and $98,437.00 funded to the Individual & Family Counseling program to assist in providing crisis counseling.

Provides resource center for financial assistance for those in need. The Shelter of Hope for the homeless, and three Thrift Stores to provide clothing and furniture for those on a limited budget. $38,011.00 funded for Shelter of Hope to support the homeless shelter and $31,031.00 funded to provide crisis financial assistance for rent, utilities, and fuel.

The Houston Transitional Living Center offers a supportive, residential, co-ed program for homeless, disadvantaged youth, providing them tools and opportunities to learn and practice successful independence. This program is designed for seventeen to twenty-one year-olds who do not have the financial, academic, emotional, or behavioral skills necessary for independent living. $17,625.00 funded to provide a transitional housing program for ages 17-21.
